zetec conversion question

hi peeps,got me self a2l mondeo zetec and a 1800 16v escort engine which i wanna use for parts.wanna fit the 2l to my 2i 8v.can i use the 1800 loom n ecu from the escy as well?

if not can i just drop the 1800 16v into the 2i 8v??
escort series 1 RS.

depends how good an auto electrician you are - best off finding a 1.6 zetec fiesta Si or ghia loom
