Zetec E vs Zetec series2

Postby Pisko on Wed Nov 03, 2004 3:22 pm

Are the engine mountings and the rest of these engines the same.??
Corect me if I`m wrong, the only difference is the head(no longer sticky valves), and the block(stronger). Putting a 2 litre in my fiesta soon witch is going to be turbo charged. Bying a engine in the near future now, but want to get the right engine of course :D

you mean the Zetec E series 1 Vs Zetec E series 2? Pretty sure the block is the same just slightly modified head to stop sticky valve (dont know what the mods were).

I thought that was the Series 3 (Zetec R as in the focus) that had the more metal between cylinders.
