Zetec ECU with Unichip
How much power can the RS 1800 ECU together with a unichip handle? Is there a limit?

Interesting question indeed. I wouldnt have thought so judging from the talks i've had in the past but i will definately be finding out whether there would be a peak limit from a Unichip mapper.

No idea yet. I have had my cams reprofiled by Kent Cams, head ported and polished. Compression raised, took 1mm off the head.
There is link to my flow chart below:

Some people say that 145-155 is the most u can expect from a 1800 Zetec but I find this hard to believe

Yea i saw your chart earlier. I would not worry about this as by the sounds of it you will be looking at considerably less than 250-300bhp as you are tuning an N/A engine (assumption made because you have raised the compression). I can safely say if you would be running even that kind of power it WILL be ok running a Unichip on the std Zetec ECU.
