Zetec fuel pressure regulator
I need to fit FSE adjustable fuel pressure regulator, what is the way to disable original regulator or can I leave it there? Plan is to fit bigger injectors and to have adjustable fuel pressure with the standard manifold an fuel rail. Engine is -93 1.8 16V Zetec.

What else a has been done to the engine as the standard injectors can flow a fair bit of fuel?

Nothing yet, suitable turbo, RS2000 injectors and VAG group 1.8T pistons are in the shopping list. Everyting else I pretty much have already.
ERST turbo manifold+downpipe, FSE, Perfect Power SMT6 controller unit for ignition and fuel, 2WD cossie IC and some bits and pieces are waiting for inspiration for a budget turbo`d Zetec. Maybe I try to go with standard pistons on low boost and see how far it goes

Arr a Zetec Turbo.
RS2000 injectors wont be able flow the amount of you for your needs and by adding a boost valve wont help.
If you doing it on a budget then i would surgest a copper head gasket form Ferriday they can make it to almost any thickness you need, don't use a decompression plate as they are a pain.

Idea is not to take over 250bhp from the engine, just make an Zetec turbo with minimun lag and great to drive. I want it to be as bolt-on as bossible and not to spend too many €€€
Cause I live in Finland, aftermarket turbos in mk3 Fiesta cannot exceed dyno proven 160 hp, otherwise it will fail MOT.

Now the injector issue is sorted out, what about connecting the FSE regulator? Do I need to disable original pressure regulator and what is the easiest way to do it?
Idea is to get little more fuel when the boost rises...
I need to get only one offical dyno sheet under 160 hp with boost marked on it for the first MOT check, then they will mark it in the cars papers along with the type of the turbo and intercooler. Then there are the emissions... After cleared MOT I can raise boost if I want to (well, it´s illegal, but I haven´t seen any roadside dynos here)
