zetec s idle PLS HELP

hi guys jus bought a zetec s. and after driving for a while when you slow down to 1st gear speeds it seems to idle a lil high around 2k but as soon as you stop it reduces down to normal 1k almost immediately is this normal for these cars.?????????????????????????????????????
