Is it worth the laughter in which you'd be immersed when I fitted it into the Metro? If so, I'll take it and put it in there, no joke ;)

what do you mean by the compression could be out :-?

its a new build engine, any competant mechanic could build an engine up without much hasstle. all new parts have been used etc

as for yours, well, id have a word with who ever built it.

Are you likely to be selling, or do you just want to know a price?

Maybe interested in the near future.

compression etc on the engine will be spot on, block has just been rebored to accept the larger diameter forged vauxhall pistons, new piston rings fitted and all 16 valves lapped in and leak tested :D

it was originally destined to go in my Clio 16v in place of the williams engine thats in ther now, but i planned on fitting it into my Escort RS1600i not a S1

i was just geting an idea of what its worth to people because im interested in selling it as i want to build a new higher spec engine for my RS16i.

What turbo is it designed for, and would a T3 go straight on and run right?

I could be a potential buyer if it goes up for sale!
