Hi,

I have a 2.1 Zetec engine for my ZT project but need a car to put it in now going to look at an RS1800 tonight what i want to know is will my Zetec go in to the RS1800 better as it has a zetec or is it better getting an RST i know about the management but will be running a standalone will i still need to run the FRST loom?

anybody need to know asap ment to be seeing an RS1800 tonight.

If its no good then got an FRST in line.

Rs1800 would be the best bet as the engine mounts ect will be in the right place and the loom will be more usable (i belive).

wicked i thought that just wanted to make sure didnt know about the map sensor etc.

If anyone else had knows about this feel free to let me know :)

You could also turbocharge the RS1800's engine if you wanted to :)

I made a little guide on cheaply turbocharging the 1.8 zetec... here!

I've got a 2.1 for it so dont need to worry about the 1.8 all i'm bothered about is the wiring and mounts really i'll read your guide tho might come in handy thanks mate.
