hi all!! been away for a while, and was wondering on a couple of things in the perforamnce ford power for peanuts zt guide,
ive read it all and understand most of the things in there but things like working out he compression ratio and some other things, but if i was to get hold of every thing, block, pistons, manifold, inlet, etc could i send it all off to area six or somebody to put it together?? or would it be best for me to have a crack on my own then when i get stuck maybe take it there fro them to help me out???
i think theres a couple more issues to come out yet so i might be jumping the gun a little!! one more thing, i have ofab management in my FRST could i use this and get somebody to remap it or wud i need something else?? cheers .

if you have all the parts and any tools you may need (only specialist one really is a piston ring compressor) then it would be well worth having a go yourself but it would also be false economy if you didnt at least have someone who knows to have a look over it for you.
you can use ofab management. i believe heeman uses ofab on his zt but it HAS to be remapped. otherwise bad things happen.

OOoh!! CLR Chivenor, got fond memories of that place!
They have a good workshop there, I used to do all sorts of work on my RS1800 there back in 2001-2003. They have 2-post lifts etc too
Don't wait for Passionford, just crack on yourself it's not rocket science and there is a wealth of information out there already to tap into
