Hmmm, don't think you understand what your talking about any of you. I feel we leave this for the pod don't you? All this who knows who cr&p. Not at any point have I "dissed" your engine builders, they know everything there is to know about the engines you speak of, but mine is a completely different ball game, its not a system designed for economy and then remapped (aka sunnyfrst) so how can you compare? The whole of mine relies on the fact that there isn't an economical version as to speak, obviously more economical versions but never as economical as yours could be. This is the one draw back. And like I'll say again read about a zakspeed capri (not texaco as I said before)(but will mention the word CAPRI again incase excursion didn't read it the first time, and start babbling on about works escorts), then you will see the light and the fact you will loose your car this summer. Case closed. Oh and ripping it out of me because you don't know the whole facts isn't a way to impress people, (I know I can learn from this statement), but we will see this summer, thats all I have to say, WE WILL SEE!!!
oh and BTW, Zakspeed.....heres some info about the Capri....

Right then Mr me0u021e ill travel all the way down to the Pod and we can have a head to head.
By the way, im not going to bother my a$$ bringing my RS out to play, so ill race you in my Transit then well see who's reading who's rear number plate.

can I add:

so why's that relevant? looks to me like the compression ratio is nowhere near 5:1.......

Firstly - What do you know about the economy of my car and how the re-mapped it (FYI - infact Mapped not re-mapped it as it was not re-mapped)!? (another Mr me0u021e2323232923 in-accurate prediction)
2nd - What has the Zakspeed Capri got to do with this? - As the other chaps have also said.... we see no connection with your 5:1 comp ratio and 3 to 4 bar of boost and the rest of the non-sense you keep chatting about!
3rd - You still havn't explained your answer to Billabongs question regarding 'no lag from a turbo charger at 3 to 4 bar of boost!' - Now I wonder why!
4th - Cubby's Transit Van will KILL your 'pathetic excuse for a car'.
We really got better things to chat about however, I thought that I mention this to Harvey, Ian and Ahmed for a laugh and everyone pissed themselves with laughter! - Nuff said!

Thank you bassboy for engaging your brain, he actually went out and found out about what I was talking about instead of trying to argue like a small child would.
Mine is at 5:1 as I run a slight variation on the engine they ran as they still need some economy else the weight of the tanks to race track would out weigh the benefits. For every whole number of compression you drop 1bar of boost at least must be put in to compensate. But then being as my technique is "bull$hit", well in sunnys eyes, even though now proven by someone else and bosting better results than I did then FORD MUST be wrong, I mean a 1.45 producing 460hp, well my 1.8 could never do that using the SAME TECHNIQUE even though there is FACTUAL PROOF from the one and only FORD ZAKSPEED CAPRIS now could it?
Can't wait to see you at the pod sunny, fuel costs are high for me but then I won't be loosing my car for it will I? Still up for it or has this "information" that you "over looked" changed your mind? Now I don't feel much back chat can go to this statement now we have PROOF of MY SYSTEM as used by FORD now can we.
Oh and look at those figures, 1.45L in a BIG CAPRI doing 0-60 in 5.5s, well I never, when I've finished setup of mine and put it in my mk1 I should run quicker times than that as my selection of drivetrain will be geared for acceleration. God damn its good when you know your onto a certain winner. Oh I can't wait, I'm beside myself with joy, although we all know sunny will back down now off his HIGH HORSE and accept that there are other ways to go about doing things, not just the std, (theres that abbreviation again), way everyone does it. Thank-you for your time here sunny but I am affriad that now we all have proof then you have to race me for log books, I mean, you have been going on about how yours is much better, so pitching the cars against each other would only result in loss of ownership upon loosing now wouldn't it. Like I said, I'm 100% confident, are you, or do you now doubt your "STANDARD WAYS" and wish to pull out of the compitition? I'll be there got excursion to blow away still, he doesn't get off so lightly, you at least DO have a fast car, I will admit that, well if it is what you say it is, and I respect you for modding a fiesta that much anyway. No hard feelings hey.

Firstly - So, your chip won't fit into any other ECU board in the world then? If it can then it is re-mapped, fact is the chip is mapped BLANK if it didn't have any VARIABLES input onto it in the first place, mapping is a slow and inaccurate way anyway I think you will find, ever had a day when air conditions were exactly the same as the day it was tuned? Didn't think so, try live feed next time.
2nd - LOOK AT THE OUTPUT OF THE ZAKSPEED, 1.4L producing 460hp how can you argue with this?
3rd - I'm not explaining all my research to you, learn to read and you will find the way.
4th - so he has an F1 engine in it then does he?
5th - they probably did laugh as you would have explained it to them like:
"guy on net has a car with 5:1 comp ratio on a T2 running 3 bar with no lag wot a gammon slipper, dunno the details but its not the same as my car so it must be poo", I'd laugh at you to!

meu you say your using the "same technique" as the Zakspeed engine quoted above. You quote theory from books, fair enough m8 thats all good but we are yet to have SOLID evidence of what kinda engine mods u have done. I do think until then no-one will believe you i'm afraid. Whether thats a good point or bad point it not for me to say is it.
But as you yourself have said ONLY this summer will tell. I'm afriad i DONT believe you because each to their own opinion and is it right that you claimed you have spent less than 2.5k on your engine???

OOOOHHHHH MAN!
I could sooo go on about the cr@p you post. Quite frankly it's boring now (I am sure your someone that I know winding me up).
Tell you what boy wonder, race a true 250bhp fiesta first and prove that much then I'll even bother looking back at this thread.
Bassboy, why don't you race me0u021765865675 in your car seeing as your so interesting in people racing for logbooks (excuse alert! - I didn't say....I said.... etc etc)
me0u021765865675 (5h1t sorry I left a 1 out again) We have all chatted about this and laughed however will give you a chance. Here's what Ian Howell said - Race a 250bhp fezzie that we all know of first (we all know you that that day aint gonna come!) and then myself, Ian Howell and Martin Hadland etc will try our best to take you seriously.
The Capri you talk about is a very special car. However, I noticed that the Capri wasn't running 5:1 cr and 3 to 4 bar of boost etc that you claim your engine is - More pointless non-sense! + Did you have anything to do with the development / Construction of it to take any credit for it!?
If your that confident - Why not turn up at the venue below (10 of the fastest cossies and 10 of the fastest RS Turbo's '10 of the best day shootout arranged by the 200+ club') All laser timed. You have to prove that your car is over 200bhp first though!!! Shame I didn't see your name on the list. Oh and it's on the 27th July so theres no excuses. But hey you still have to prove to beat a 250bhp fiesta from this site first. I've proved my car to loads of people, you aint!! therefore surely you wouldn't have a problem with that would you??? No excuses, if you aint beaten a 250bhp fezz from this site (many people have challenged you even a transit van before the 27th July - You would have proved one thing.... and we all know what that is!!! - Nuff Said!!!
Now you can't get fair'er than that!
Broom Broom - See ya! I'll chat to you and post back to you on this thread after you proven yourself after beating a genuine 250bhp fiesta from this site - untill then your posts mean nothing.
Sunny.

don't even start me off!
You asked if anyone was racing for logbooks and as you drive I suggested that seeing that you shown interest in that field why don't you be one of the people racing for logbooks. I am in no way getting YOU involved in any of my posts (even though this aint my post! You replied to it - No one's getting you involved UNDERSTAND!
I've told you now and many times - Don't even bother getting me started this time!!!!!!
You've been warned!

Maybe I'm totally missing something here but how exactly do you create 400+ bhp (not saying I'm an engine expert) on a, and I quote, 'Fully Blue-printed Bottom end'? Ooooooh now I best most 1.1 micras are scared of that! For God's sake, are u tryin to tell us that it has standard pistons and rods? 'Cos that's what blue-print means in most tuners books. Not talking spork again by any chance.
Bassboy, you seemed like a nice enough guy at Chesterfield when I met ya but come on m8! What's all this backing of whoever has the 'supposed' fastest car of the mo??? One minute u love Sunny so much 'The best gets better' blah blah blah and the next Ian Nathen and now Meuiy29p8r6298hg and his Blue Peter engine. All the time it's like 'trust me' and 'I know'. How do you know?
Once again meu0830973. Far from even proving you can beat a 250bhp Fiesta why don't you just post up a single picture of your engine??? Why? Probably because it only exists in your head. It's not like we're asking for too much is it, to see a pathetic jpeg!
Dave
PS Drop the pink slip spork, ur not fekin Vin Diesel

Oh, and another thing. How exactly have YOU proved anything? All you've done is reel off someone elses engine spec over and over and go on about how you have this and that. Sunny on the other hand doesn't have to prove anything 'cos we've all seen his powergraphs!

Sometimes when people read engine specs they should know if they got their heads 1/2 screwed on whether the vehicle is gonna be fast or not. My point being a cossie engine with 803 injectors, hybrid, 3 bar map sensor etc is nothing to be sniffed at!
Good stuff Cubby - I am sure that your Transit will waste alot of cars
CarismaDave - You hit the nail right smack bang on the head Thank heavons we have another person who knows what he's talking about which is more than what I can say about alot of others around here!
Another good point to realise here is that the people who are really on the level (ie. CarismaDave, Cubby, Paul R, Excursion, Chumkila, Bruster, Project, Franky etc) appreciate and understand that they carry out their conversions because they are in it for the love of it NOT to make sure their car is faster than an another individuals on this site. (how pathetic and what a waste of money to try and prove a dull point). Everyone wants the quickest car or claims to have the quickest car but until anything is proven their claims mean nothing.
Respect to all the other sane people here who are on the right level and all the best to them and their conversions from me. - Shame about the rest.
Sunny.

Do you have any idea what 178.8mph feels like in a Fiesta? 2000 lb of pressure per square inch per second pushing back on your face. It feels like god himself is trying to rip the skin off your skull while someone lands a 747 on your chest.
