Zetec turbo - Zetec inlet manifold (iscv) question....
Hi all,
I have a question RE the above.
Im Building a low budget zetec turbo, im using the HO RS1800 inlet manifold & FRST chipped management. I am using a custom fuel rail assembly because the zetec side feed injectors are not upto the job so using top feed beige injectors.
Now the problem (slight) is when using the custom fuel rail it encroaches on the space for the iscv. This needs to be relocated and ive seen and read various ways of doing this, including this one :
http://www.rsrich.force9.co.uk/zetec-tu ... 31_jpg.htm
Ive read you can use a "remote iscv" from an xr2i which I also have. Thing is though im inclined to keep the iscv that was designed to run with the engine ie the zetec item. In the pic above Im presuming that the hole in the middle is the feed? which I was planning on taking from the "turbo" cross over pipe (The fiesta rs turbo one) and that the two smaller ones to each side are just bolts with nuts on the end? The reason why im not sure thats the case is because if you look at a zetec iscv it has three holes in it which allow air into it, hence maybe in the above pic all three are vacuum take off's? Would it work with just one though? (the big centre one?)
Im intrigued to know how other people have done this when sticking with FRST OFAC or OFAB management?
Any help, advice, pictures muchly appreciated.
Gareth.
