I think mongoose are the loudest.
I had a full Magnex on mine and it was as quiet as the standard system.

from what ive heard (may be wrong?) its better to change just the exhaust back box + filter element on the 8v 2i as the 2 items mentioned are incredibly efficient.

all makes mentioned are very good but they wont be very loud as they are high quality stainless exhausts and also the 2i is fairly loud neway isnt it?

i may be speakin $hit so feel free to tell me to shut up!

Fiesta exhaust are ment to be incredibly efficient, ive heard that b 4. don't know about the filter?
You could get a induction kit, with a cold air pipe? [ERRR] the main advantage of standard pannel filter is temp.

What do I know :???:

Magnex full stainless system on a non-catted 2i 8v (i.e. all 2i 8v then  ) sounds lovely when you toe it, but idles nice and quiet for those "magic" moments

Mongoose are loud loud loud!!!

Ideal straight through bore for a standard 2i is around the 52mm ish mark I think, i.e. standard plus a mm or two, which equates to less than bugger all I'd guess.

2.5 inch is about as big as you can go afaik - I'll tell you once I've got mine on
