jayrs :coming on nice mate.
maybe the bar is there on that boot flor to ensure the sprae wheel doesnt move around? maybe it clamps up against it, although i cant see the need for it as ford would just make different wheel trys like they did on the mk3, so if its not for that, i dunno :-?

could be only thing i can think of stop it htting the floor. it wired because theres only a bolt to hold it on at one end, the other it just slots into a whole and is loose within the whole :-?

Tbh they must have under rated them seen plenty of zs on rolling roads making 115hp standard in fast ford mag,

The 1.6 se is a hidden gem imo, I'd have one over the 1.7

jonyb4 :
Tweek :Jony, your 1.8 is only 130 spec, wouldn't say it has "more power"

Cossie/ST brakes coupled with braided lines are good for track and emergency stopping :)

someone failed maths...

130spec= 130ps at factory, the Zetec s has 99-105ps depending which year it is, therefore it has less

Ive never seen a 130 spec zetec make 130, in standard form.

Im sure we could all enjoy quoting estimated bhp all day. I suspect yours and Tobys would turn out to be nearly the same bhp if they were rolling roaded.

Toby, do you know how much your rear springs lower it by? Like, are they meant to be -35mm, -40mm or something?

Toby, do you know how much your rear springs lower it by? Like, are they meant to be -35mm, -40mm or something?

got to about 40mm i think. i found out after some research that weitec sold a half coilover kit which is why i have the front but not rears.

fiend :Looking good. :Q Once you detail a car its so easy to keep it clean with a quick wash.

Which Dodo juice shampoo did you use?

born to be mild aaron, smells so good
http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wax/dodo- ... d_490.html

cheers Dave n Jon, i was only gave it a quick once over but i was suprised it came up so well after the second wash

Steve i actually took the grille apart yesterday to check what i needed and if it could be saved without buying a rip off price on ebay as they go for so much. turns out i only need the back plastic and a new badge. ill order one soon
