It was a pretty productive day for a change! I've got a few pics of the updated front trim. I'll email them to you later.

You forgot to update about overtaking a 206 gti that evening though, and pizza hut/film/Henry falling asleep.

right bumpstrips have been both finished and on now for a week. i took one off at a time so i could take me time with each one.
i have also fitted the original dealer plates that luckily were still with the car when i got it, as i didnt like the crappy plates with the ford logo at the side. look miles better and cleaner
new/old plates
Image
on the car with the new paint work
Image
Image
also to finish the rear off with the new paint and plates i bought some led bulbs for the number plate lights, hard to get a pic of just how bright they are compared to standard sidelights bulbs
Image

personally love the colour and it goes well with the black the rear centre caps arent on in the pics i no i need to respray all centre caps. the colour is a bit marmite and gets a lot of head turning and funny looks

Sorry dude, personally I'm not sure it works very well :(

Perhaps if you did more bits in that colour it might work a bit better? As long as you like it though thats the main thing :)

its out there to cause a reaction, to be different. most people always plays it safe go for a colour they have already seen or already knows that it wil work. example being most mk5 zs with other colours are green and theres a lot of them.
i no people arent going to like it and as stated i love it :D

cream ftw :Q

Needs more beige bits. Brake callipers would be a good move to start with. Beige badge with black writing? Mirrors? Door handles? :oooh:

I wasn't really sure about the idea of the cream at first. But I guess if your trying to make a difference and shizz, then to finish it off all I can say is do the roof and get some nice shiney, wide alloys and spray the centres cream, finito!
