ZS - SOLD
Re: ZS - more paint 7/5/11
past few days as ive not needed to use the car i decided to finally take the lower grill off and get all the crap off it and tidy it up a bit
crap can be seen in this pic, was a mixture of mastic stuff and general grime think from were it was stuck on no very well. if you look back at past pictures you can also see all the crap just blocking up the grill area
ended up also painting the top grill as well, and also the bit below the lower grill as that was all flaky as well. i wanted to paint the hwole front bumper but my local halfords dont stock panther black, so just done these bits in gloss black for now.
lower grill and bottom of bumper done,
top grill
on
finish could've been better but i plan to re do the whole bumper at some point, just tidies it up a bit
just got to put the interior back in and detail it for next week

Re: ZS - wet vac'd 13/5/11
as im taking henry and steve to fitp i needed to put the interior back in, since its been out ive wet vac'd everything i could so the carpet, boot carpet and whole rear seat section. results are really good and makes the interior fresh again.
the pics dont do it justice and seems to show up loads od stuff on the carpet, but really its just things that are collegd right down in the carpet that wouldnt come out. the rear seats may not look any different but thats how they should look. the front seats you can see havent been done as they looked faded compared to the rears
i have also just cleaned the foot section after i took this pic so thats all celan now
passenger footwell shows it better
and i have bought some dmb overlays for my badges so they match the car now. i had to ring up and order because i e-mailed dmb asking if they do a black and cream badge they said we can but its more a beige as they had never done it before, so had to order it blind and hope it matches. and luckily its does
will be on for this weekend as theyve only just arrived really pleased with them
annoyinlg i lost a seat buckle bolt for a front seat so ive had toi leave myharness in until i can get another one.

Re: ZS - been murdered 4/7/11
well i painted the cream bits blakc last week. its what i was going to do originally. we also machine polished it yesterday so it super shiney. not paint correcting just with a buffer, has taken out a lot of light scratches
pictures nicked from smo's thread

i liked the cream bits but the mian reason i changed them to black was so its easier to sell when it comes to it.
personally i love it, some people think its too much black

Looks good. They're unpainted black/grey plastic to start with anyway aren't they? This just brings them up nicely
