Someone correct me if I'm wrong but im sure a ZVH is a Zetec bottom end and a CVH head.

Fitting a Zetec head on a ZVH will just give you a Zetec.

yes mate you can...and obviously you will turn it back to a zetec.you will however have to change the water pump and cam belt tensioner back to zetec ones as well.plus to do a zvh conv. you have to block four oil ways in the face of the block,these will need unblocking....alot are welded but some have metal plugs in them ...........hope this helps

if you had a zvh turbo bottom end and you want to turn it back to a zetec turbo then you would have to do what i have said above.....its basically a zvh reversal ..does that help..

the four front oil ways are blocked for the cvh head...it is done because the cvh is 8v instead of the 16 in a zetec...you will need to unblock them

there you go you both got there in the end i dont blame you wanting the 16valve head back on can someone tell me why you would have 8 instead of 16 valves

the only reasons i can think of are ; so thst the manifolds fit straight on and so that the engine bay looks 'as standard'
