ZVH capacity, turbo and ECU question

Postby MircoJ on Sat Feb 09, 2013 4:09 pm

I'm going to get an zvh-engine done next month. I'm just unsure, wheter i'd go for an 1,8 or an 2,0 or 2,1 L, plus i don't know what turbo and ECU to take.

What i'm after is responsive engine, that already goes good on low revs. Powerwise i would like to have something around 200+ hp. Engine will come into an 89 MK3. The car will be used as "carpet-racer", that means, i'll use it for "Touristenfahrten" on the ring, but keep all the interior, the be able use the car on road aswell.

I'd love to go for an 2.1 L, just to have a "big" engine, but i fear it'll not be so responsive. I would take a Sierra T3 with an 0.36 housing and an OFAB.

What do you guys think? Is the capacity-charger-combination right, to get what i want?
