What sort of prices should i be looking for this conversion?

I currently have a 1.6 zetec engine.

You would be going back in time mate to go from a full zetec to a Zetec/CVH conversion.
Best bet is either a full zetec turbo conversion or a 2000cc Zetec conversion detailed ont he Guides section of this forum

Thanks

Matt

Depends on the spec and who you get to build it, also will need to add other parts ie, intercooler, managment etc.

I know i would be going back in time with a cvh head but the cost of getting a 2ltr and then turboing it is scary!

I know pumaspeed would do me a zvh for around 3k, just wondering if thats ballpark?

Dont bother, just get a 2.0L Mondeo engine or a ST170 if you can find one and make it fit.

CVH/ZVH is a waste of time nowadays. I would only bother with one where space is an issue, i.e. a Ka engine bay.

Mondeo engine will fairly slot in and set u back around £500-600 fitted for an instant 133bhp and tuning potential of over 150bhp and loads of torque.
