Has anyone on here built up a ZVH?,i'm thinking of building one up to replace the engine in my project Fiesta van(Mk2,sorry people!)sometime next year.I'm looking to run it on carbs, just looking for a nice torquey lump rather than outright turbo power!!!,can anyone help with modification details and the like and which is the best block to use,i was thinking a 2 litre but some people are saying to use an 1800 block, help!.

I've got one in the car...a friend of a friend does the conversion, about £400...I know a guy with a 2.0 for sale at the mo'...he wants about £400 for it so I can get one done for £800 (this includes the crank & rods and STANDARD pistons...you may need better pistons if you're after high power).

Jeff

No pal,its got a standard XR2 Mk2 lump at the mo,well,it would if the motor wasnt out for work to be done!.I just think that if i've still got it next winter then i'd like to put something a bit more adventurous in it,if i dont fit a ZVH i think it'll probably get a turbo lump(i hope!) .
