Now on it's forth feature. Ian Howell's monster RST now has a touch of the Orient. At the moment the only Japanese part is the Blitz dump valve, although Ian has plans for a Skyline R32 engine transplant next year!! Since it's appearance in PF, Ian has carried out more body mods, including the flush tailgate and clear rear clusters.

 

1988cc, 16v, four cylinder, fuel injected, Arrow con rods, ARP rod bolts, forged Mahle low compression pistons, lightened and balanced flywheel and crank, gas flowed head, sodium filled exhaust valves, all valves reprofiled, T35 turbocharger, intercooler, Pace chargecooler, 56mm throttle body, custom throttle body, custom alloy plenum chamber, Pipercross cone filter, Escort RST exhaust manifold, bespoke exhaust.

 

 
7x17" TSW Evo R rims with 205/40 ZR17 Yokohama A520s,  Koni top adjustable shocks, Fiesta Frenzy Motorsport  -65mm springs,  Escort Cosworth callipers and Fiesta Frenzy 315mm cross drilled discs.
 

 

Fibresports Escort Cosworth front bumper with Renault Espace Splitter, standard RST rear bumper with filled line, "flush" tailgate with numberplate slot filled and smoothed, side strips removed, MK4 mirrors, clear rear clusters, clear oval side repeators, single wiper conversion, rear wiper arm removed and hole filled. Fiesta Frenzy Focus WRC style rear spoiler, "Type R" graphics.

 

Stainless steel gearknob, Weber air / fuel meter, boost gauge, Elliot 10,000rpm tacho.
