A bit of a disappointing turnout, due to many
peoples cars being in bits, or not running well. The quickest
Fiesta of the day was Craig's white RST, a 1700cvh with a T34 and Cossie
Management. Craig ran a 14.3 second 1/4 mile. Warren's yellow RST van also put up good times,
a 15.07, even with a
huge amp and two 18" subs in the back! Jason Ripp's Fiesta is still
only slightly tweaked, but watch this space as Jason has major plans for
it. Did someone say 18"s...? We must mention his wolf-whistle horn
that had every girl in fits of giggles as we headed back to the
motorway...
Out of around 15 Fiestas, two of those were Moondust Silver. Not bad
considering only 50 were ever made. Barry's K plater has immaculate
leather retrimmed seats and door cards and ran just over 16 seconds. Not
bad for a first attempt!
Performance Ford came along with a photographer, although whether
they use any of the shots remains to be seen. They only seemed to be
interested in Paul's car though!?
