Fiesta In The Park

Fiesta In The Park 2001 takes place on Sunday, May 20th 2001.

To celebrate the 25th Aniversary of the Fiesta, The Fiesta Club of Great Britain is once again organising the biggest gathering of Ford Fiestas.

For the 3rd year running the show will take place at Wicksteed Park in Kettering.

For those who have not been to the venue before, Wicksteed Park is one of the leading Leisure Parks in the UK. It was created by Charles Wicksteed in 1921 within a non-profit making trust "In order to change the lives for the better, of thousands of children". He was not only a talented engineer and inventor , but also a true philanthropist. Since that date, Wicksteed Park has expanded into a significant Leisure Park aimed at the whole family, and at children aged 4 - 14 in particular. The Park has 180 acres of Lakes and Parkland within which there are over 40 activities for every one to enjoy.

The park opens at 09.00 with the show opening at 09.30.

Entry to the park will be only 3 per car. There is a free souvenir show plaque for all cars that attend.

Once again the major car magazines have promised to attend and the local media will be present to report on the days activities. In 1999 the local papers covered the event on 3 seperate days, that is how good it was!!

We have 15 other car clubs visiting and to date over 200 display cars will be in attendance, with a Ford Credit Fiesta Zetec Championship race car from Ford Racing already promised and the possibility of a Ka Rally Championship car currently under investigation. A map can be found here.

fiestaturbo.com will be in attendance with a group of approx 30 cars.
