Most powerful car of the day was Paul J's 2.1 16v. Running 19psi it put out 252bhp at the wheels and had the dyno needle off the clock! Flywheel figures for 20psi should see the car produce well over 300bhp with the T34 Paul has waiting to be fitted.
Notable mentions go to Nomads XR2i 16v with an impressive 132bhp (flywheel), Jay FRST's 1600 T3 did 199bhp at the wheels and Paul R's 178bhp (flywheel). Dan (CharlieB)'s RST produced 182bhp (flywheel). Both Mikee and Gary's unchipped RST's kicked out over 140 with just breathing mods and Mark's stunning Moondust Silver example not far behind at 134.
Cleanest engine bay by a mile was Gary's Red RST. To say you could eat your dinner off it would be an understatement! Highly impressive and sure to have jaws dropping at shows this Summer. Just needs a little of the shiny stuff to set it off a treat. Go on Gary! You know you want to...
My own RST did 141bhp (flywheel) with a weak actuator only holding 6psi. It boosted to 10psi as early as 2500rpm then tailed off above that. Still, 141 for an effectively unchipped car is pretty good going and should be quite strong as soon as I can get a new actuator and hold 12/13psi.
Nice to see www.fiestaturbo.co.uk stickers on quite a few cars, cheers for the support guys!
