The venue changed once again this year, the location being the brand new Rockingham Motor Speedway circuit in Northampton. The venue was well laid out and provided ample space for all the cars on display, with a large amount of tarmac surface unlike previous years.
With the event being organised by Fast Ford magazine their stand was one of the largest with several Fiestas on show, including Martin's XR2i, Matt's 'Smooth Blue' and Fraser's, complete with brand new leather retrim.
Car of the show had to be Stuart's XR2i, now with Fiesta Turbo engine, T3 conversion, 17"s and Peugeot 306 headlights. A few cars down in the concourse section the sat a yellow van looking remarkably similar to Warren's. A source of inspiration no doubt!
Geoff's FRST was attracting a lot of attention on the Autoglym stand, the underbonnet plumbing raising a few eyebrows with the T3 using the original airbox and combined intercooler and chargecooler setup, not to mention the spotless Mas 17"s and Wilwood brake setup.
