The second year at Silverstone proved an equally popular venue as last year, with thousands upon thousands of Ford fans from around the world flocking through the gates.
A strong contender for car of the show had to be Martin's concourse XR2i, now taken to the next level with an 11 month long total-nut-and-bolt engine bay rebuild. Acres of chrome and polished parts, right down to the gearbox and driveshafts.
A welcome suprise appearance arrived in the shape of Paul J's "Evil Type-R" 300bhp Zetec Turbo. Usually seen annihilating much larger cars round the track, and therefore tricky to get any decent photos of, it's position on the Fast Ford stand offered a welcome opportunity to have a good nose around.
fiestaturbo.com once again secured a stand, this year with an increase to 10 cars, compared to 5 for last year. No major changes since FITP, except for Louise's new front bumper and 17s.
