One of Europe's leading multi-marque modified car shows took place, as with previous years, at Northamptonshire's Silverstone circuit. The show was a huge success with just under 17,000 people reportedly in attendance. Nearly 17% more than last year.

The day's action focused on the track with dedicated track sessions on the international circuit for dirvers who were hungry for fast and furious action. The Club Straight section of the track was jam-packed with eager competitors ready to test their cars on the hotly-contested 0-60 sprint, with the fastest runners, including Europarts twin engined 4x4 Renault 5 Turbo, achieving times under 3.1 seconds.

A total of 94 clubs were present showing off a wide variety of modified and exotic cars and almost 100 traders selling everything under the sun from tyres to turbos.

fiestaturbo.com were in attendance with a stand just outside the paddock. Highlight of the group was Paul R's 5.1 second 0-60 running 2.1 16v RS Turbo (video below) and of course the regualar turn out of ft members including Paul B's now fully painted up Type-R and Matt A's meshed up and RST kitted Si.

Plenty of other Fiestas to see, including DJ Motorsport's wide arch 4x4 Cosworth powered, Martin H's concourse XR2i, and the absolute show stealer - Warren A's RS Turbo. Last seen as a van with twin 18" subs, it now has rear windows, 17" Kahn RSSs and a total new interior including fully leathered up Mk4 dash, door cards and Sparco Torinos trimmed by Neil's Auto Interiors in the same black leather. Replacing all the ICE is a one off chromed roll cage, Nitrous bottle and polished alloy floor. Awesome stuff and totally immaculate to boot.
